Bukhara region

A single number of mulberry trees available in the region make up an area of 4134,5 thousand Bush and 3680,1 tutzors. Number of Mulberry seedlings planted in autumn 2019 and spring 2020 years therefrom:

- single row of mulberry trees-1041,8 thousand Bush;

- newly restored tutzor-to 353,1;

In 2019, 36 thousand 400 boxes of silkworms were grown,
2 thousand 43,4 tons (102,2 percent) were grown alive.

In 2020, 40 000 boxes of silkworms will be taken care of,
2 200 tons of cocoons are grown.

There are 3 pillani processing enterprises in Bukhara region (“Buxoro Brilliant silk” MJCh, “Romstar” JV, “Kumushkent silk” LLC).

72.4 thousand jobs will be created (2 857 permanent 69.5 thousand seasonal ones)
