The following are the main goals and activities of the association:

a) To improve the fodder base of silkworm breeding:

Ensuring effective cooperation with relevant public authorities and local authorities on the allocation of irrigated land in order to strengthen the food base of the network, expand mulberry rows and mulberry groves:

Establishment of agricultural production at the expense of secondary activities in silkworms and mulberry groves during the period when silkworms are not cared for, their sale in domestic and foreign markets:

b) on cultivation, preparation and primary processing of silkworm seeds and cocoons:

Assist member organizations in creating, caring for, and producing high-quality silkworm breeds:

Determining the forecast volumes of cocoon production in the regions of the country, placing orders for cocoon production by cocoon production and processing organizations:

Establishment of new facilities for the production and processing of quality cocoons, their primary processing, production of raw silk and silk yarn, and the organization of modernization of existing ones:

d) on the organization of deep cocoon processing:

To increase the volume and improve the quality of finished silk products, to master its most popular types and designs, to ensure the certification and standardization of industry products in accordance with international requirements, to effectively organize the widespread introduction of modern methods of quality management:

Conduct marketing research to expand product markets, develop proposals and recommendations to create an optimal mechanism for pricing silk products and increase exports of finished silk products:

d) to coordinate the accelerated development of the network:

Coordinate the implementation of program measures taken for the development of the silk industry, the consistent implementation of a single scientific, technical, technological, investment and export policy, as well as monitoring prices in the domestic and foreign markets:

Assistance in state support of the member organizations of the Association by improving the regulatory framework, providing benefits and privileges, attracting funds from international financial institutions and donor countries:

In the interests of the member organizations of the Association, to prepare and file lawsuits without paying state duties, and to appeal against the actions (inaction) of their officials.
